Berawa is where Bali's long-stayers settle: families in walled villas near the international schools, couples in new apartment blocks off Jalan Pantai Berawa, and a steady rotation of guests around Finns Beach Club who discover that the beach club lifestyle pairs surprisingly well with a 7 am flow. We teach in all of it, and because Berawa borders our Canggu home base, a teacher is rarely more than ten minutes from your door.
Family-Friendly by Default
More than anywhere else we cover, Berawa bookings involve families: parents alternating classes while the other watches the kids, grandparents joining a gentle session, teenagers gamely trying crow pose. The small-group format absorbs all of it — one flat rate for up to six people, every pose layered for different bodies. Children from about six can join family sessions; tell us ages and we'll plan accordingly.
Long-stay residents are the other Berawa signature. If you're here for a month or a season, a recurring slot with the same teacher — Tuesday and Friday, 07:00, your garden — is how practice actually becomes habit. The 10-class package at 20% off exists precisely for this.
Surf, School Runs and Sunrise Slots
Berawa's beach break gets crowded but consistent, and plenty of our students here surf daily. The recovery formula is the same one we prescribe in Canggu: vinyasa for strength on flat days, yin for the hips after wave days — our surfer's yoga guide has the full logic. For parents, the 08:00–11:00 morning slot lands neatly after the school run.
Where in Berawa We Teach
The whole strip from Finns to the Seminyak river border: Jalan Pantai Berawa, Padang Linjong, the lanes behind Atlas and the Umalas edge. Neighbouring Canggu and Seminyak are covered at identical rates — no travel surcharges anywhere in the core zone.
