Some of my favourite classes in eight years of teaching on Bali have been couples sessions: two people on holiday, one of them a regular practitioner, the other gamely trying yoga for the first time. A private group class makes that work — I can give the experienced partner deeper variations while the beginner gets the foundations, and nobody feels left behind. With a 500-hour YTT and years of teaching mixed-level groups, juggling two or three different bodies in one class is the part of the job I enjoy most.
Villa groups are the other classic: four to six friends sharing a pool villa in Canggu or Uluwatu who want a sunrise flow before the day starts. One teacher, one flat price, everyone on a mat we brought.
What to Expect
- Mixed levels welcome: every pose is taught with an easier and a stronger variation, so a first-timer and a regular can genuinely share the class.
- Partner work (optional): couples can add assisted stretches and partner balances — fun, safe and great photos. Or skip it entirely and just practise side by side.
- Your pace, your playlist: energising vinyasa, gentle slow flow or wind-down yin — tell us the mood and we build the class around it.
Pricing (IDR)
| Group size | Per class | 4-class package |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 people (couple) | IDR 1.800.000 | IDR 6.400.000 (−11%) |
| 3 people | IDR 2.100.000 | IDR 8.400.000 |
| 4 people | IDR 2.800.000 | IDR 11.200.000 |
| 5–6 people | IDR 3.500.000 – 4.200.000 | IDR 700.000 × people × classes |
For one or two people the price is per class — a partner joins at no extra cost. From three people the rate is a flat IDR 700.000 per person per class, travel and equipment included. Couples can also buy 4-class (IDR 6.400.000) and 8-class (IDR 11.200.000) packages; see the pricing page. Groups larger than six become a retreat or event booking with a custom quote.
How Home Classes Work
We bring a mat, block and strap for every person — just tell us the headcount in your WhatsApp message. You'll need roughly 2 x 3 metres of flat space per mat, so a poolside deck or a cleared living room fits four to six comfortably. The teacher arrives ten minutes early, sets up the space, and adapts the plan on the spot once they've seen everyone move. Sunrise and sunset slots go first — book 24 hours ahead via WhatsApp.
