Nusa Dua works differently from the rest of Bali, and we've learned to work with it. The ITDC enclave's resorts run on appointments and quiet competence, and our part is simple: a certified teacher at your suite, garden bale or stretch of beach lawn, precisely on time, with every prop needed and no fuss at the security gate — we're a familiar sight there.
Resort Yoga, Upgraded
Most Nusa Dua resorts offer a weekly group class on the activity schedule. It's fine. But fine is not why you came: a private session means your level, your timing and your goals — jet-lag recovery on arrival day, mobility work between spa appointments, or a daily sunrise practice that survives the buffet. Conference delegates are a Nusa Dua specialty of ours too: the convention centre fills the enclave with people who've been on planes and in ballrooms for days, and a 06:00 class or evening breathwork session resets more than any coffee. Companies book group sessions through retreats and events.
Honeymooners and anniversary couples round out the picture — the couples class on a beach lawn at sunrise, before the resort wakes up, is as romantic as this job gets.
In-Suite, Garden or Beach
Suites in Nusa Dua are generous; clear 2 x 3 metres per person and the living room works perfectly, air-conditioning included. Garden bales and lawns are lovelier at sunrise, and the enclave's beachfront — flat, raked, shaded at the edges — is the best beach teaching surface in Bali. We coordinate with the resort where needed; usually a word with the concierge is all it takes, and we're happy to be the ones who ask.
Where Around Nusa Dua We Teach
The full ITDC enclave, Sawangan, Benoa and Tanjung Benoa up the peninsula. Neighbouring Jimbaran is fifteen minutes west, Uluwatu across the Bukit, and Sanur straight up the bypass — identical rates, travel included.
